Kerala Mural
Exotic handpainted Jhumkas in traditional Kerala Mural art. Making this art form truly wearable. These Jhumkas are an outcome of a recent collaboration with a traditional Mural artisan in Kerala.
Kerala mural paintings are the frescos depicting mythology and legends, drawn on the walls of temples and churches, principally in God’s Own Country – Kerala. Ancient temples, churches and palaces in Kerala, South India, display an abounding tradition of mural paintings, dated mostly between the 9th to 12th centuries CE when this form of art enjoyed Royal patronage.
This form of painting is truly inclusive as they enjoyed patronage even within the Christian community. Our Jhumkas at InduDiva are lightweight and convenient to wear to work too. Perfect for those Zoom calls.
